Teeth Straightening

How can I get started?

Have you thought of straightening your teeth but the thought of having metal brackets on your teeth deterred you from moving forward? Are you unsure if clear aligners are right for you?

Step 1. Schedule for teeth straightening consult.

Step 2: At your consultation appointment, A 3D scan and pictures are taken for Dr. Rupani to review. She will take time to understand your goals and also checks to make sure your teeth and gums are healthy and if you are a candidate for this treatment.

Step 3: We order your custom trays

Step 4: Once we have your aligners ready, we place buttons on your teeth for the aligners to move those teeth accurately and you are on your way to a beautiful, healthy smile. All you need to do is to wear the aligners for 22 hours a day and see us every 8-10 weeks.

FAQ

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Clear aligners work by applying constant, gradual pressure to move the teeth to its final and ideal position. The aligners are changed every 1-2 weeks at home and you would see the dentist every 8-10 weeks.

DOES IT TAKE LONGER THAN BRACES?

They are similar to braces in terms of treatment times.

I HAVE REALLY CROOKED TEETH, IS IT RIGHT FOR ME?

Clear aligners have a long way and are great for many types of mal-alignment. Call us for a free consultation to see if you are a candidate.

IS IT PAINFUL?

No, it is not painful but when your teeth initially start moving, soreness can be expected. Dr. Rupani will walk you through what to do so you are comfortable during your treatment. If you have had braces earlier, you may remember the wire tightening that can be painful. Clear aligners do not have that and are much more comfortable.

IS IT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN BRACES?

No, the cost is similar to braces and will depend on the case.
